Intersections – Urban Perspectives

-Manhattan street life in contemporary urban paintings-
A Sense of Place
“These paintings embrace a sense of past and present, stillness, and motion, the remembered and forgotten.”
Mielenhausen’s compositions are specific and concentrated, depicted as seen through the lens of a camera. His photographs are used as a reference point for the painting process. The aim is not to paint a literal Photorealist work but to create a representational impression of the subject.
Exhibition continues thru March 26, Monday thru Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM.
